twoeightone make their outing at the Liverpool
Biennial with Transient at the Marriot Hotel. This exhibition presents
creative talent from 6 north west based artsits working across a
range of disciplines.
The common thread running through the artworks are ideas of transience
and the temporal. The artists' work is a mixture of installation,
photography, drawing and video, all responding to the themes that
a hotel space evokes.
twoeightone support artists and curators exhibiting in alternative,
non-gallery spaces. They show innovative, site specific work, in
venues which have included a vacant shop (281 Chapel St, Salford);
The Great Northern building, Manchester; and Urban Splash apartment
- The Box Works.
