Andrew Lawson (UK) - as well as being a painter, Lawson is one of the leading 'mainstream' photographers of the 'English Garden'. His archive of more than 20000 slides include flower portraits and garden landscapes and is regularly used by magazines around the world. For HORTUS Lawson presents two new series of images, focusing on 'The English Garden' and on 'Veitchian Introductions'; showing portraits of flowers, trees and shrubs introduced to the UK by the Veitch firm of plant gatherers.
