A changing selection of recordings will appear on listening stations
at the 68 Hope street gallery containing sound works by a broad
range of international sound artists, experimental composers, noise
makers and other audio creators. Audio Research Editions was founded
by Colin Fallows in 1998 as a limited edition imprint for artists
sound works. Using the limited edition print as a formal model,
the imprint has to date published over 200 works by artists from
over 20 countries. In terms of content, Audio Research Editions
treats the compact disc as an art space with each edition containing
a themed audio exhibition that can be experienced in either linear
or random modes.
This exhibition is held at the Liverpool
School of Art and Design
Throughout the Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art Liverpool
School of Art & Design will present a series of exhibitions
and events featuring work by research staff from the school and
their international associates. The school of Art and design will
also present Creative dates: A Conference of the North West Art
and Design Research Group. |
