Priest

Lawrence Lane’s 7 inch single Priest offers us confessional in the via negative; allowing us access only the counsel of a Priest. While retaining a sense of spiritual mystery and inviting much speculation, Priest automates the ritual of clerical admonishment.

Resembling a prop from a Turing artificial intelligence test, Priest implies the perpetual motion of endlessly reproducible fall and redemption that keeps the wheel of Catholicism turning.
