A THOUSAND WINDMILLS
‘In the city of Liverpool there are approximately one thousand
empty signposts. The sign posts are redundant for whatever reason
there are no signs on them. They stand around at the side of the
road and on street corners, neglected, ignored, almost invisible.
My work involves using these signposts as plinths and the city
as a gallery- the whole city- by putting windmills on to these signposts
and so giving them a new purpose and introducing art to every single
area of Liverpool including the most derelict and rundown places..'
